The 2023 China-US TVET Leaders Dialogue took place online on November 13th. President Ma Yuxia attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech.
In her speech, Ms. Ma Yuxia emphasized that digital education transformation is a global imperative, maximizing the accessibility of educational resources and ensuring equality in educational opportunities. As a leader in China's rail transportation vocational education, Zhengzhou Railway Vocational & Technical College has made great efforts in recent years to promote the construction of digital campuses and digital teaching reform. The institution has made remarkable progress in network infrastructure construction, digital platform development, digital teaching resource creation, digital teaching transformation, etc. These advancements effectively addressed challenges such as high risk, high investment, difficult to observe, and difficult to reproduce in the training of railway professionals, comprehensively enhancing the quality of talent training.
The dialogue, hosted by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), brought together leaders from 12 vocational colleges and universities in China and the United States. They engaged in exchanges and discussions under the theme Digitalization Enables High-Quality Development of Vocational Education.
